A zero waste holiday?

Lake District camping wast water hiking zero waste holiday

They say you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. Having spent the last eight years in London and Bangkok coming back to spend time with our families in Yorkshire has made me realise just how much I’ve missed spending time in the countryside.

Heading down under!

Kat with her old yet sturdy suitcase

In under a months time we are upping sticks and moving to Australia for a year. Kalleco will still be running, so don’t panic, but more on that in a future blog!

It’s a huge leap into the unknown for both of us. For Kat, it is the fulfillment of a childhood dream. She has long dreamt of escaping the cold of Yorkshire and now it is time to see if reality can match up to the vision laid out in her imagination: a more forgiving climate, an outdoors lifestyle, and a host of new experiences to be seared into her memory.
